The Christmas decorations (mostly, stockings and our wee foot-high tree) are going up this weekend.

And I'm wearing festive Christmas socks. (I work in the kids' department. I'm allowed to wear stupid holiday socks! Though I have given away some of my sparklier Christmas and Halloween pins to a coworker who also teaches Kindergarten.)

troutkitty and I have already got our Christmas present to each other. We now have a Roomba! (She says, I for one welcome our robot masters if they'll vaccuum so we don't have to!) The cats are... not quite sure what to make of it. I think it's awesome. (ROBOT. VACUUM.)
