Random software question for the hive mind

Hey, is anyone using Miranda for an IM client? I think I want to play with LJTalk, which Trillian (my current choice) does not have. Is it good? Bad? No-one's ever heard of it?

(I use my skeptical Scully icon of will-this-mess-with-my-current-contact-list-edness!)

Hmm, maybe I'll have to give Miranda a try... worst-case scenario, I switch back to Trillian. (Three-week lag time on comments, erk. Bad me.)
