perian, though Godiva's has been cancelled before I got a chance to really watch it, there's going to be a new series based on Tanya Huff's Vicki Nelson books!
Woo-hoo! Cranky half-blind former-cop (female) private investigator and historical romance-writing hundred-year-old (male) vampire--together, they fight crime! Now to just hope that the adaptation is, um. Good.

Ironically, while the series is set in Toronto, the spinoff "Smoke" series is set in Vancouver on a show that is pretty clearly a mimic of Forever Knight. ;)
