Link gakked from perian, though Godiva's has been cancelled before I got a chance to really watch it, there's going to be a new series based on Tanya Huff's Vicki Nelson books!

Woo-hoo! Cranky half-blind former-cop (female) private investigator and historical romance-writing hundred-year-old (male) vampire--together, they fight crime! Now to just hope that the adaptation is, um. Good.

Me, too! Now I want to reread the series... seeing as I've finally reclaimed the last few shelves of books from my parents' basement, this should be doable. (Though now I need another bookcase or two. But that's perpetual.) I really hope they stick fairly close to the books.
