In and around the computer trouble this weekend, I pimped This is Wonderland to queenzulu. Hee.

Random Reason to Watch This is Wonderland: The series premiere had Drag Queens to the Rescue!

We did not get to eps of Coupling, but we did go a-questing for But I'm a Cheerleader. The very nice gay boy at Roger's confirmed they did not have it, and when he saw that we'd also got Jeremy (because m'girl's not-so-seekrit boyfriend is in it), said "Ohhhh, we were looking for that! We were checking the comedy section, though!) And lo, we were prepated to trek across field and plane (read: down a few block to the further-away Blockbuster), but the Blockbuster down a block had it in.

(Clea Duvall (Graham) was Marcy the invisible girl in Buffy! And the goth girl was Sunday. It's the fun game of trace-the-actor back to Joss shows--or sometimes Due South.)

I have a Mysterious Package to pick up. UPS called Friday night. I have absolutely no idea what it is--the only mail I'm expecting is more books to review, and I always just get them in the mail. Hmmm. We shall see...

And this week's was, once again, fantastic! James! Being all with-it and competent lawyer! Alice also being articulate and competent! (I've been pimping first season to a friend... the contract is noticable. *g*) Nancy! Being all... well, Nancy. Yet still worrying over James! Elliot and the guy on the phone! And I love Judge Fraser. (You just know he's really Benton Fraser's uncle or distant relative...)

Alice and Nancy appear to carpool together, hmm.. (and go grocery shopping together, as was evident a couple weeks ago! Domesticity, eee!) And when your fandom is only half a dozen people, establishing fanon is easy... the power, the power!

Well, after the whole fiasco Monday night in which I glance at the address, invert street and avenue, and spend an hour driving around in a very large circle-ish thing during rush hour, last night we made it over in one try. ^_^; The Mysterious Package was books to review, and I really hope they haven't switched to sending by UPS entirely, since UPS inevitably try to deliver it during working hours, and then I have to trek across the city to pick it up, before 7pm on a weekday. In comparison, the nearest post office is about ten blocks away, and open until eleven.

And OMG with the fun! I knew Marcy and Sunday looked eerily familiar! Maybe it's 'cause Marcy was invisible for so much of the time...

It was pretty cool having the Pretender pimped to me, and you know I'd watch Jeffrey anytime to see my Sekrit Boyfriend Captain Picard in a flamboyant pink tutu, but, y'know what? *whispers* I like "This is Wonderland" best.

*whispers back* Me, too! Jeffrey had that whole stage-play feel, and it turns out it was based on an off-Broadway production. Still fun even though the main character made me want to smack him.
