In which I covet but do not purchase action figures, and other such fannishness

Basically... Phoenix Comics has new Buffy figures. Most especially, two variants on Tara. I waaaaaant. My two Willows are lonely! And even though it looks like Dark!Willow is coming on to Vamp!Willow, they'd each be much happier with a Tara of their own. Sigh. Also, I apparently have not yet loaded my "Cute!" willow and Tara icon, so I'll have to go with puppet-Angel. Mwah.

And lo, I have made suggestions for this year's yuletide fic challlenge-y thingie. Which means I shall be volunteering to write fic for someone else, which means that I'll have to actually sit down and do it. One of the rules is that it has to be a relatively obscure fandom. (People... Firefly is not an obscure fandom. Neither is Hard Core Logo, not really. Nor DC universe stuff.) queenzulu should go sign up, because people are asking for Tru Calling. And chaleur23 should at least go look at the results when they're posted in December because I've seen both Jeeves and Wooster and Samurai Jack on the list. Hee. And guyindkny and drakkenfyre should both take note respectively, because Rhade slash and CSI fic are both on the list.

And now I must go meet the sister of the jestyna (whose nickname I am not using because it doesn't seem fair to do so on her birthday!) so I can give her prezzies!

Boy, there's so much of that sentence that wouldn't make sense to a lot of people out there.

Basically, right now people are making fandom suggestions, including the names of the characters they want. It has to be a rare fandom, ie, not Harry Potter. Then, after the 26th, the moderators will compile them all, and pull out all the stuff that isn't rare. After that, you get to sign up for three fic you want to see. In exchange, you have to pick three you want to write for someone else. You'll get assigned one your choices to write, and somebody else will write at least one of yours. Somebody's already asked for Rhade in the fandom suggestions...
