Why did we get such loud cats?

daemonlunaI specifically remember asking for the good, quiet, non-smelly variety of kitty. Not the loud, bad kind that make the box unbelievably stinky.
(Though Minnow is rolling her face all over my foot, which is kind of cute, if ticklish. It's HER foot! It's HERS!)
My girl has abandoned me and is at Worldcon right now. Though I did come home to a rather forlorn message on the answering machine about her missing me. Aww. The good news though--she's got four different agents wanting to see sample chapters! Yay!
Don't think this corporate library thing is for me, long-term. I could do it for a little bit though to pay the bills. There's a possibility that I might be there past the beginning of Oct. We'll see.
I have actual ripe tomatoes from my tomato plants. Yummy!
