Green tea...

... is, I suspect, why I'm not the slightest bit sleepy. Because I unthinkingly drank several cups while sitting in a sushi restaurant with friends tonight. This is, of course, after spending most of the day lying in the bedroom in front of
chaleur23's air conditioner, waiting for the advil to kick in and cursing biology. Bleck.
However, last night, we saw an absolutely fantastic performance of Fiddler on the Roof down at Olympic Plaza, put on by Summerstock. The cast was fantastic, all high school and college kids. (The young man playing the constable had
troutkitty and I elbowing each other in the ribs whispering "Look! AU Draco!") Okay, the young man playing Motel the tailor only hit the occasional right note, but he could definitely dance. (And the dear boy was quite, quite fey... aww...) Tevye and Golde were amazing, and the ghost-dream-sequence was very cool, with everyone draped in cheesecloth and ripped linen tearing about onstage and through the audience.
To do this, we passed up watching improv at the Loose Moose Theatre, and Shakespeare in the Park. (Sorry,
mockingspike! It was the last night it was playing!) We may try and catch Shakespeare in the Park in the next week--at least I'd like to. I didn't make it down last year, alas.
Minnow has discovered that if I'm sitting down and leaning slightly forward, she can stand on my shoulders, and try to chew on my head. Strange, strange wee beastie that she is. Yeah.
