Exhausted briefness
Jul. 8th, 2004 11:05 pmWorked past nine days straight. Not a record for me (two months of two full-time jobs and sixty-hour work weeks about five years back was probably the record) but still tired. Montonous paper-sorting continues, but I've still got half of the American Gods audio book to go.
And doing stupid things like accidentally making entries private instead of merely friends-locked. Oops. Fixed now, but consists mostly of me feeling sorry for myself, so don't feel obliged to backtrack and read.
At any rate, I just finished a new YA book, The Year of Secret Assignments, sequel-ish thing to Feeling Sorry for Celia. Longer book blurbs later. For now suffice to say, it was fun. And epistolary.
Earlier, I could hear fireworks. And tomorrow I am obliged to show up at work and then go to a Stampede breakfast. Really and truly, I would rather just sleep in, but there isn't any diplomatic way to get away with it. Ehhh, could be worse.
