Incidentally. I have actually *finished* a This is Wonderland fic. Now all I need is a title. ^_^; However, I'm doing things backwards since this is the wedding one, and not the obligatory first time story. (In which Nancy kills a plant, Elliot could stop drinking but Nancy will still be short, and it's all Alice's fault because of the unnatural chemicals. As compared to the other one where Alice has a cold.)

Nobody here likes Trout very much today. He kept waking both of us up last night by stealing troutkitty's pillow and 2/3 of the bed. And all day today, whenever he hasn't actually been outside, he's been very loudly shouting to go out. (He gets really annoyed when I howl back at him. His ears go sideways and he gets this very indignant look on his furry little face.) And now it's crazy hour (randomly occuring between eleven and two am) and BOTH cats are tearing around.

The good news: The overnight low has gone up and we no longer have a frickin' frost warning (in June!) so I don't have to haul all twenty-some of my various pots and containers of plants inside, like I have been the past two nights. Although I should get over to my parents' in the not-so-distant future and pick up the three more tomato plants my dad's got for me.

Except I still need a title for the story. Damn.

... can't you just toss a nice tarp over the pots? Or are they so tender that the temperature alone will kill them, not just frost contact?

I'd have to move them all together, or at least bunch them up some more so that I could easily toss towels or blankets over top. And if I'm going to do that, it takes about the same amount of time to just pull them inside. *sigh* Stupid weather.

Although with most of the stuff I've done, I've gotten the title first, I've heard that this is the usual order - get story idea, write story, get title.

But since I've only seen the first episode of "This is Wonderland", and that was a while ago, I'm no help here.

However, I'd thought I jump into the dark and suggest: "Entangle Meant".

I've often said that I should get a very large hamster wheel for my cat, Sophie. But I don't think she get the point. :)

Oh, I suck at naming things. Characters and stories both--it takes me forever. As soon as I come up with something that's not unbearable, I'll go with that.

Ah, see, Trout just thinks we should bring him home a hamster. For supper. Or preferably, a bird.

Ack! Hasn't come up often, but it has been a problem. Thinking I need some books or web pages to help with names at times. Also good references on various cultures, etc.

I almost made another suggestion for something for Trout, but then I realize it would have unintended alternate meanings. This nasty taggled language. :)

You need the obiquitous writer's name-your-baby book! *g* There are a bunch of websites that do much the same thing, with varying degrees of pop-ups and advertising.

Mostly, Trout eats kibble. Sometimes, he likes honey-nut cheerios. *g*
