Some fannish glee...
Jan. 24th, 2004 12:11 pm... because Jet Wolf has a new Buffy vid!
And because this week's Angel was full of slashy goodness and twisty plottedness. Can't imagine how I missed raving about it earlier. What with the Lindsey and the Doyle mindfuck thing he's got going on and the slashiness with Spike. And the brilliant surreal nightmare sequences and ooh, the next-week-on-Angel. Yay! Andrew! And then Cordy! ...I'm trying to be fairly vague and unspoilery, but I think that just came across as incoherent. Suffice to say, this season of Angel is finally getting good.
Meanwhile, I have been wasting all my time on Hamlet - The Text-Based Adventure
>kill claudius
Just as I am pulling my punch, Gertrude storms into the room.
"Hamlet!" she snaps. "How many times have I told you NOT to murder your relatives! I know it's difficult for a Shakespearian lead, but..."
I grudgingly apologise to both of them. Gertrude leaves, mollified.
But now I'm stuck. I can't get past Othello into the dungeon, I can't get into the back room at the pub, I can't charm the rope to climb up the tower in Dunsinane (nor find a piece of Birnam Wood), or find the eye of next, or figure out how to send Ophelia to a nunnery to bring Laertes home from France. Etc, etc.
Stupid rope. Stupid flute. Stupid Macbeth with his stupid dagger.

Date: 2004-01-26 01:55 pm (UTC)I am *so* looking forward to Angel's expression/reaction when Spike (or someone passing along the news from Spike, or whatever) says that he's been helping people according to visions from a short guy named Doyle. ;-)
