So back in May, some fuckhead smashed the passenger window of our car. Tuesday night, one of neighbours knocked on our door to tell us that it happened again. And this time they ripped out the CD changer. Arrrrrrrrrrgh. So, we deal, we call the police, the insurance company, our landlady, etc. Bright and early Wed morning, we head out, shop around for a car alarm, take the car in to get the window fixed, etc. etc. Come home, continue making phone calls, go to grab the mail...

...and that's when Barb slips on the stairs and sprains her ankle. And we spend the afternoon at the walk-in clinic and getting x-rays and all that fun stuff. And EI (aka employment insurance) takes 6-8 weeks to be processed. Grrrr. Arrrgh.

On a slightly different sort of rant, live action Sailor Moon. No, not the musicals. A new TV series. Kowai. O_o There are some screencaps up here of the first episode. I'm experimenting with bit-torrent, trying to see if I can download the first ep. I repeat, kowaii...

Barb is watching Survivor, her brain candy of choice. *g* It's oddly... like a car crash, in a can't look away kind of way.

wow - sooo sorry to hear this - both the repeated car break-in, and Barb's ankle just shouldn't have happened to such terrific people.
