Most obscure fandom yet

daemonluna(I feel like this requires some explanation.)
So, back in the fall some of the members of the fanbinding collective I belong to found out that one of the book cloth manufacturers was going out of business. They happen to be the ones who make a particular kind of fancy two-tone cloth called Duo, that shifts colour depending on the angle.
So first there was a group order. Then it got... unexpectedly large. (Like, close to forty people, almost 600 yards of cloth large.) Some other things happened. And a few days ago, there was a casual joke about writing fanfic about the cloth. That happened. And then it spiralled into an elaborate series of comments inventing personalities for all the colours.
So, I guess I have a new fandom now. Might have started a series. Oops?
