Fanbinding: The Northwest Passage series by torch

I've not been great about sharing my bookbinding experiments from Tumblr over here. I posted this one just a few days ago.

My second and third casebound attempts! I decided to start binding with some of the older fanfic I’d saved over the years. The Northwest Passage series by torch was one of THE big Mulder/Krycek fic back in the day. It’s a canon divergent slash (m/m) casefic and romance, and spawned an entire fanworks zine project. I am sure that some of you around these parts remember it.

 

There are more pictures and some process notes, plus a picture of my very first bound version of this fic from the early 2000's (spoiler alert, coil binding was involved) posted on Tumblr.

My first attempt was with another one of torch's fic, China, a Methos/Mulder X-Files Highlander crossover.



I'm now up to nine completed books total! I really should get them up on AO3, too. One of these days...

Thank you! I've got some more in the works. :) I want to have at least a few Due South and SGA fic on the shelf too, as well as the newer ones I'm working on (most The Untamed aka MDZS aka the latest fandom to eat my brain.)
