Addictions of nostalgia
May. 23rd, 2006 11:16 pmSo. It was a lovely long weekend--one of my friends from grad school came down from Edmonton to visit, and then we drove up Sunday afternoon and took her home, and got to see
troutkitty's aunt and co.
The car trip meant that I've made a dent in my pile of library books, which I hopefully will eventually post about (Grand & Humble by Brent Hartinger totally took me by surprise in its awesomeness).
I'm trying not to stress too much about the job interview last week. I'm not expecting to hear anything until at least Thursday. But still. Sigh.
However, I've lost most of my spare time lately into the time-sink that is past video game addictions.
Anyone else remember Startopics? (Besides
naked_bandit, that is.)
...
...
(cue crickets chirping)
Yeah, thought not.
But! I have discovered that I can play it from this site! Now if I could just get past the spinning idols that spit rocks at you, to ultimately use my yoyo to defeat the evil aliens who have captured my scientist uncle, we'll just see if the ending is as cool as it was when I was twelve.
