Persistence of pessimism
May. 13th, 2006 10:22 pmSo, it had been almost three weeks since that job I applied for closed. I'd given up on it a week ago.
Friday morning, they called. I have a phone interview Wednesday! And they wanted to interview me badly enough that when I hadn't gotten back to them by the end of the day (phone number she left wasn't connecting properly to voicemail and I was going to have to email when I got home), they called me back later the same day.
I am cautiously optimistic.
troutkitty says she told me so.
Of course, at this point I am happy whether or not I get the job. There are pros and cons both ways (the con--moving), and I'm just thrilled I got the interview.
...yay!
(Given the job in question, icon should be self-explanatory.)
