Noo! Not the icky white stuff!
Oct. 18th, 2004 12:48 pmIt's snowing. It's cold and it's yucky and if it were December, I would think (provided I didn't have to drive anywhere in it) oh look, all white and fluffy, but since it's only October, all I can say is yeeeeck. Here's hoping it won't stick around too long. Also, must get some weather stripping for the windows.
I strung up our Halloween lights this weekend. *g* I think we have at least as many Halloween decorations as Christmas ones. Once I get everything up in the next few weeks, I'll have to take some pictures, though I've still got some minor furniture rearranging to do after we had friends over on Saturday. (Dragging the second futon mattress off the frame onto the floor may work very well for maximizing seating space, but is a pain in the butt when you keep tripping on it every time you go in and out the front door.) Did not make straight male friends watch slash vids. Did make everyone watch the live-action Tick and hopefully did not traumatize non-slashers too badly by pointing out how very, very married Arthur and the Tick are. (They should be used to it by now. *g*)
A couple of random CBC links: A William Shatner film festival, where one of the prizes in the trivia contest is a 70's K/S zine. Also, scroll down for Green Arrow comic to feature HIV-positive sidekick.
However, I seem to have finally got this wretched cold going around. From the headache and lack of balance, I can only conclude that it's settled in my sinuses for the time being. Bleck. Need more hot tea.
