Next time I think, hmm, I feel flushed, I wonder if I'm coming down with something, I should ask myself, self, have I been out in the sun for longer than five minutes? Is it possibly a bit of sunburn?

The answer, for the record, was yes, it was. I walked from the library to the museum and back again. It took about ten minutes, each way. I was on the shady side of the street. But it was hot and not shady all the way. Such is the curse of having pasty-pale skin. (At least that explains the nagging headache all afternoon...)

Favourite book of the minute (by which I mean the one I just finished), The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch. (I think I have simplelyric to thank for the rec!)

I was certain I'd get burnt while walking around the city's Arts Festival last weekend but managed to avoid it by sheer luck, for once. I'm sorry you weren't so lucky.

Well, I can't speak to whether or not anyone else recommended it to you, but I certainly did. It's wonderful that you enjoyed the book, too. =D I can't wait for scott_lynch's next title in the series!
