daemonlunaOkay, how did I end up FIVE DAYS behind on lj? (I only actually had to go back to skip=400, but STILL!) However, all this reading means I have had much coffee and no food, which I shall have to correct forthwith, as I am now jittery. And using polysyllables to excess.
We headed into Calgary on Saturday morning, took my parents out to lunch at the Deane House (also where we got married) for my mom's birthday, picked up![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
mockingspike and headed over to drakkenfyre's for a barbeque attended by many fantabulous folk. (This also meant that we got to see queenzulu's shiny green motorcycle. Oooooh!)
Sunday, I sawnaked_bandit for the first time in far too long, and her boy who is now HUGE! (He's SIX! How did this happen?? I no longer have to kneel down to hug him!) and meet her fiance, and see her awesome house. Seriously, she's one of my oldest friends and had been having a pretty rough time for a long while, and I cannot tell you how thrilled I am that things are going well for her.
Came home, watched Blood Ties and Supernatural and the girl made yummy slushy drinks involving fresh-squeezed grapefruit, ice, and vodka. Today will involve more mundane things like tax returns and going to the gym for the first time in way too long, and continuing my long-standing battle with the dandelions in the front lawn. Expect fic links and random stuff here later today.
