I am afraid that Trout has realized that the door at the bottom of the stairs? Goes OUTSIDE. After we moved and couldn't let the cats outside to prowl on the balcony, he spent a few weeks wandering around, meowing at me for not providing him with SOMETHING. And he couldn't remember exactly what.

Lately, every time I go in or out, he is sitting on the half-wall at the top of the stairs, staring intently. Six months later, he has figured out there's SOMETHING there. It may not be HIS outside, but he's starting to suspect... And I just took out the garbage, and when I came back in, there were TWO cats staring at me. This does not bode well.

I am filled with squee after tonight's Grey's Anatomy. Oh, Bailey. You are full of awesome. And Izzie, oh Izzie. Also, Christina/Callie. And lesbian Amish girls. (I am willing to forgive Grey's for killing the (potential) lesbian, because they have a pretty good track record with their non-straight characters. Although our first thought? She totally has testicles. It says something that tumor was the second thought...)

But before that, we went out and joined a gym. (Also, cleaned out the fridge, did laundry, and have potentially found a doctor in town. Does this mean I've become a responsible adult?)

And also, troutkitty is teh awesomest.
