Last night,

drakkenfyre and her sister came down and visited us before going to Vulcan to see Spock today. (It amuses me greatly that I can type that sentence.)

Anyhow, that is how we ended up turning on the TV to catch The National on CBC, and there was a news story on about proposed changes to the Ontario sex ed curriculum being scrapped (boo).

Cue clip of member of conservative religious-based organization, ending with a statement about how he thinks it's wrong to teach children about anal sex. Cut to mom telling her small child "...and that's where babies come from..."
