Meme! Because it looks potentially interesting...

Why not take this opportunity to tell me a little something about yourself? Any old thing at all. Just so the next time I see your name on my flist I can say: "Ah, there's so and so...she/he wears mismatched socks." I'd love it if every single person who friended me would do this. Yes, even you people who I know really well.

I apparently go for guys with reversible birth dates. The ex's date is 07-07 and the current SO is 12-21, or 21-12 depending on whether it's day or month first.

I read "The Walrus" religiously, and am evangelical about getting others to do so as well.

The Walrus is a fantastic Canadian magazine that covers news, politics, current events, popular culture, the arts, and with even the occasional fiction section that's not horrible CanLit. It's always clever and insightful, and has relevent things to say about the issues that tend not to come from some horrible right-wing Stephen-Harper-pandering point of view. It's a monthly (except for the July/August and December/January double-issues), and is something that I think that all Canadians have a vested interest in reading.

As much as I have an interest in trying to do photography, I apparently only ever shoot pictures of the dogs.

The cat, I've found, is a more difficult subject for photos. It may be because ours is somewhat twitchy, what with living with two dogs...

Our cats regularily drape themselves all about the house in the most bizarre and/or adorable poses possible. They pose. Except for the indeterminate, rotating time period between eleven and two that is designated crazy hour, when they must chase each other around as wildly as possible.

Thanks! I'm a big DLM fan, especially of Ellen Muth. Ok, and Mandy Patinkin. But really: one of the best shows that should not have got cancelled. Glad you like!

I believe that cheap beer mixed with Gatorade is a refreshing summer drink.

I think that would depend on liking beer in the first place, which I've tried, but just can't. Girly blender drinks for me, all the way.
