And speaking of which, Rick Mercer's Monday Report is now in reruns on CBC--I might remember long enough to catch the eps I missedin Jan-Feb. Monday night's show was his date with Jann Arden. (guyindkny, I tried to call you, but the phone was acting up, and then the segment was over and it was too late.)

I missed the first ep, but caught the second of Slings and Arrows, a Showcase series about a Shakespearean theatre company. Paul Gross! Mark McKinney! Don McKellar! Hee! I think they're rerunning it to show season two, which makes me despair of catching the first ep. More obscure Canadian series need to be up on Bittorrent. Will trade varied and micellaneous things for copies!

Amazon.ca is still listing July 19 as the release for the first season of This is Wonderland on DVD. Crossing fingers, but not holding my breath.

I was despairing of getting anything done today, since all student library books were due back yesterday, and I was up to my eyeballs in returns, but help swooped in, in the form of parent volunteers and lunchroom supervisors. Now I'm off to deal with an entire class's worth of books that was shelved without being checked in. That's why they go in the return bin, not just anywhere on the counter or book truck. Oy.

I missed Rick Mercer's date with Jann Arden? Dammit, Helen! (Though I did see her piece with George Stroumboulopoulos, which was amusing about the tattoo on her thigh, and her political aspirations).

You missed her on why luging with a g-string on is a bad idea, and claiming her breasts increased her overall speed! There is a video clip here (Nov 15)--ooh, and it looks like it might be the full segment! Also, "Rick catches up with Olympic gold medalist Kyle Shewfelt," which is too damn cute for words.

Squee! Thanks for the link! I've now just spent two hours, with the laptop in bed, watching Rick Mercer clips. And you're right--Kyle Shewfelt is too damn cute for words...
