The thing about insomnia is...

... you start stressing about the sleep you're NOT getting, which keeps you up even longer than you would have been otherwise.

On the plus side, I've gotten assorted small things done and/or together for tomorrow that I would probably otherwise have forgotten, along the lines of "take travel mug out of dishwasher so you don't forget it," and "email reminder to self about work stuff for first thing in the morning."

On the not-so-plus side, I'm going to be short of sleep tomorrow. Sigh.

And now Trout's prowling around wondering if I'll let him out, and if I'm coming back to bed, and if so, can he possibly be Very Sneaky and squeeze between us into the warmest spot.

Back to bed for me.

I thought I felt you get out of bed last night. I was doing the whole "dreaming you're awake" thing, although it was a very light sleep at that. Have a splitting headache, but at least the drive was okay. Funny how going to the Tim's on 5th at five in the morning means practically no line up.
