Party planning!

Pumpkin, skeleton, and spider lights hung, check.

Dead plants arranged into lantern-lit dead garden with plastic skeletons, check. Pirate's skull on a stake in flowerpot looking in window, check.

Autumn leaf garland hung in counterpart to black leaf and severed fingers, ears, and organs garland, check.

Eerie classical music CDs from library, check.

Pop and cranberry juice purchased, eyeball meatballs cooked, check.

troutkitty still has to make a goblin-head cheeseball, and candy apples! It's a pseudo-potluck bring munchies type party, as is common with the one group of friends, so I think we'll be well-supplied with chips and candy and nekosei's evil caramel popcorn twists.

We've both got costumes assembled (pirate and flower child--it's a scavenge from the back of the closet thing this year).

I still need to put up the bloody handprint static clings, stop at the video store and get Dead Again, vaccuum, clean the bathroom, and carve the pumpkin.

But the party's not until tomorrow night, so I think we're good.

We did take pictures, which I'll have to post. That doesn't get you a caramel apple, granted, but... *g* One of these years, you'll have to come out and visit over Halloween.
