The air, it moves
Jun. 30th, 2007 11:27 pmIt is windy. (There's a surprise, right?)
No, really. There is a thunderstorm warning in effect, but it's still pretty muggy inside. I have the windows wide open and the fans all on, and the wind is strong enough that the venetian blinds are flapping and vibrating.
I'm actually kind of cold. It feels really, really good.Next-next weekend, the forecast is for 37c. Gahhhhhhhhhhhh.
One more day of work (it's my weekend on again), and then, Canada Day Long weekend! Hopefully we will have
queenzulu showing up to spend several days on our couch. Destressing and lazing about for teh win! There may even be guacamole chips involved... and going to look at fireworks if we feel like it and are willing to brave the mosquitoes.
Spent all but about an hour today doing the department's timesheets. Oh, my head. I inevitably get most everything down in a morning, and then spend a day and a half tracking down all the exceptions.
Tomorrow is a) Saturday, and b) the first weekend of summer vacation. I'm in the kids' department all day. We shall see what kind of crazy the day brings...
