Stress and waiting, all around here.
troutkitty is still playing the waiting game, though it's sounding pretty good.
It's now officially over a week and I haven't heard back from the job I applied for. (I know, I know, it's still a bit early, but the sense of impending doom persists. Hideous career insecurities, who, me?)
Also, I still do not know what's going on exactly at either school next year. (Though it sounds like it's going to be a moot point at the one school, since I will mostly likely only be there another two weeks, since I'm just subbing.)
And I don't know if it's the season or the phase of the moon or what, but every single class from K-6 at both schools has just been wound-up this week. (Yesterday, the grade fives were overtaken with uncontrollable giggles. The grade five BOYS.)
On the up side, I had a bunch of holds come in at the library. Going to go curl up with Louis Sachar's latest, Small Steps, a follow-up to Holes.
