I plan to spend the evening curled up in my pjs, catching up lj. So... it thereby follows that it's down all evening. Running on about three hours of sleep today (we didn't get home until about 4:30am, and that's a whole other saga), but I had to go in since it was the first day of school and all.

(The good news--I have a computer at work, and my library system software. Sitting in a box beside it, but I've been assured it'll be installed soon. It's kind of a moot point though because a) I don't have the second half of my ULS book order, or any of the catalogue records (they're all in with said second order), the library supplies that should have been here two weeks ago, or the barcodes, which are going to be at least a week delayed due to faulty label stock. However. I do have some temporary shelves, which is more than I had before.)

Anyhow. The point is, I shouldn't even touch my flist right now. In fact, I should have been asleep several hours ago. Which is where I'm going now. Sleeeep.

Also, Space is showing The Sentinel, which I have never actually seen. Heh. Slashy! Plus, the first ep had Molly Parker in it! Six degrees of Canadian actor separation rarely actually reaches, y'know, six whole degrees.

Rambling con report later, including the saga of [livejournal.com profile] mockingspike and the phone book, letters composed to [livejournal.com profile] queenzulu's mom (Dear Mrs. F_____, We're sorry we lost your daughter...), and [livejournal.com profile] troutkitty's theory of Star Wars and hair loss.

I think I may have hives, not a bunch of mosquito bites as I thought this morning. All over the my upper arm, just the one. ITCHY. God knows why...

I'm caught up on my flist, after going to skip=260. And that was after temporarily unsubbing from all my library rss feeds, and fic announce and rec communities. And I did catch up on lj Friday at the con. Expect a slew of odd links and fic recs in the next day or so. And possibly, a con report. ("Ring of the Ancestors! Ring of the Ancestors!") (Incidentally, [livejournal.com profile] mockingspike, we have your road atlas, and [livejournal.com profile] queenzulu, we have your penguins.)

Have received most of my library supplies at work, and the ILS software is up and running (Lib4U, if anyone cares). I'm beginning to feel like I might actually get somewhere in the not-so-distant future. Now if only my second book order would show up, with all the catalogue records.

The small kitty woke me half an hour before the alarm went off this morning, demanding attention. She kept shoving her head under my hand. At one point, she scooped up my hand with her giant paw in order to chew on it. (That means she loves you.) When I rolled over, she bit my elbow.

Gah. I desperately need to do laundry, but have no loonies for the dryer.
