Oh, come on, this is TOO easy!
Oct. 1st, 2003 11:45 pmNo spoilers here, but much made of slashiness.
Lines from this season's premiere of Angel:
Angel: I, on the other hand, have no problem spanking men.
Other Guy: something-something-something, you little fairy.
Angel: Hey, I'm not little.
Annnd, on the next-week-on-Angel:
Angel: I'm with Wolfram and Hart.
Spike: And I'm his date.
Hee.
Might I also point out that 1) Spike in in the credits! 2) Andy Hallet finally gets his name in the credits! On a pink BG, no less! And 3) Harmony's line about the secret ingredient being otter just cracked me up, for no discernable reason.
New character Eve has the possibility of being even cooler than Lilah, depending on how evil she actually is. And, er, not just because she's all cute and evil. She had a great line about not assuming that she's young or a girl.
Is it just me or has David Boreanz really put on some weight? The ep was okay, but we'll see how it develops. And (non-spoilery vagueness ensues) the thing with it being the kid and all was really creepy.
It didn't suck. (Cordelia wasn't having sex with Connor, for one.) We'll see how much more happens in the next few eps, I guess.
Dale is evil and has gotten us watching Andromeda. Yeah, it's Hercules in Space, but it's fun and oddly addicitive in a space opera sorta pulpish way.
troutkitty said we have to see it because Nicholas Lea (aka Krycek) is going to be a recurring character this season. I think she's going to be sadly disappointed if he's not evil. (Krycek in Space!)
Personally, I like Trance. Because she's purple and has a tail and is obviously far more than she seems, in a clunk you over the head with it but still not telling kind of way. (Trance's report on rescuing Dylan: I found where Dylan was. I went there. And I got him out.) We're eighteen episodes into the first season, I think. My favourite one so far was "Fear and Loathing in the Milky Way" partly because the ep before was so bad, and partly because it was damn funny.
And now I'm taking this very large, furry footwarmer (except when he drapes himself over your face at 4am) named Trout and going to bed.
