Bizarre but true...
Sep. 24th, 2003 11:11 pmOkay, so I sent away for a drecit report, for a variety of reasons. And I get it back and... it's got my SIN. My address. My mother's first name and her birthdate. And a conglomeration of credit info from both of us. (Between the two of us, we've got a pretty good credit rating...) Go figure.
And they came and took our kitchen floor away. More specifically, took the pseudo-wood-laminate off because of the water damage. At the moment, the frisge is in the living room. Is that feng shui compliant? Minnow is enjoying leaping on top of it and being Up. She likes being Up.
troutkitty has had three job interviews in the past week. Right now, the best bet looks like sales associate for WestJet. (Woo-hoo, free airfare!)That's the one she actually wants, fingers crossed.
We're being very domestic. I made a huge pot of chunky winter vegetable soup last weekend, and yesterday we made some very good gingersnaps. They had fresh ginger, ground ginger, and candied ginger. It's a good think they turned out because the recipe kinda made seven dozen cookies.
And now I have to go curl up in bed and watch some more Gravitation on Barb's laptop.
