Well, the good news is that despite my suspicions to the contrary, our household has not succumbed to the Martian Death Flu. Just a particularily nasty cold that in my case has turned into a throat infection. (Wheee.)

Seriously, I have been feeling too lousy to sit at my computer and catch up on my flist! (So if anything truly interesting has been posted in the past week or so, I may have missed it...)

We've spent most of the past two days watching Boston Legal. It's... it's really good. And not just because of all the ways in which Allan (James Spader) and Denny (William Shatner) profess their love for each other weekly. They dresssed up as flamingos together for Halloween! Now one will regularly say to the other when they need reassuring of the depth and breadth of their friendship, "of course. We're flamingos, remember?"

They waltz together while one of them is dressed up as the other's ex-girlfriend. (A rather large simplification, but still!) They go to a spa together and hold hands while they get facials. They go fishing together and cuddle. They plan sleepovers. I CANNOT MAKE THIS UP. It is freaking adorable!

I need to go take some more cold medicine before bed. And watch another episode while I wait for it to start working...
