State of the me

Spent another fun and exciting morning at the dentist's. Once again, oh hello, electric pulse, meet the muscles in my face and jaw. It's an irritating process, but stops short of being actually painful. Gah.
I now have a (very expensive) fitted piece of hard plastic wrapped around my bottom teeth. (Don't worry, it comes out for eating.) The upside: it will reposition the muscles in my jaw to get everything back to where it's supposed to be. The downside: Said repositioning is not, for the first week, pain-free. Also, it's oh-so-much fun trying to talk clearly. Did I mention I was on one reference desk or another all day? The over-enunciation may be a small part of the reason for the muscle ache, come to think.
However, I did manage to answer a couple of much-delayed emails and a few LJ comments last night, and got a couple more book blurbs written. I've been sporadically playing Zelda lately. It's a nice, brain-settling pastime for when even reading feels like work. I finished Ocarina of Time and started Majora's Mask. Having a time limit on the game stresses me, I've realized, but the cuteness of Deku Bush Link is overwhelming.
Now to see how well hunk o' plastic in mouth and sleeping mix....

So he had to open up the access port (remove the filling from the little hole in the top of the crown) and use a socket wrench to tighten it up to the right torque again.
On a completely unrelated note: you guys know about the pet food recall, yes? Do you feed your cats wet or dry? I do feed Johnny and Shadow one of the recalled products (Eukanuba pouches, which I'm discontinuing for the time being). I'm uncertain if I've ever given them manufactured in the suspect time frame since I've thrown out all of the empty pouches. So far no symptoms, though. *knocks wood*

Uh, yes, I just came back from the past, how are you? :D
Do you still remember me, right? Right?! *puppy eyes*
I'm trying to revamp my old Witches 5 site and searching for old FSC stuff I landed here. *sigh* I miss those times sometimes.
I'm playing Zelda too on my wii, but I still have to buy Twilight Princess, so I'm playing the Wind Waker. It's the first Zelda game I play (except one for gameboy color) and I'm liking it a lot :)
I hope to hear from you soon and that you'll forgive me for disappearing for so much time. :(
My mail is still the same (eugeal@iol.it) even if it isn't working very well so I'm using ripper.giles@gmail.com too
Lots of hugs!
