Oh, weekend, I love you.
There was sleeping in. There was visiting--(
drakkenfyre, we hope you guys had a good trip back!) and
queenzulu and
mockingspike are STILL HERE! We made massive amounts of grilled meat for supper (beef ribs are very large, and the new BBQ is awesome), along with tomato salad, potato salad, green lettuce-y salad, corn on the cob and baked beans), played Betrayal at House on the Hill (
mockingspike didn't go evil this time, not like usual), and mocked Celebrity Paranormal Project (which is so mock-worthy that it will require its own post later).
Also,
queenzulu and I used teh interwebs to research cock rings for a fic she's working on. And then, we all went to get ice cream.
Sadly, it is not even midnight and we are all exhausted. I am old and all boring-adult-like. It comes of working semi-regular hours and getting up mornings. (Though
troutkitty has been getting up ungodly early to start work at 5:45. Bleargh.)
My goal of tomorrow and Monday: read some more of the oh, 63 books I have signed out from the library right now and then actually blog about them. (Dear self, having a book blog is not just a convenient place to put more links in lieu of actual content. No love, me. PS, but you could lay up on the procrastinator's guilt a bit. No, no, wait, that didn't mean ignore it completely, you know that will only make the guilt worse... Yeah, welcome to my brain.)
Sleeeeeeep....

Date: 2007-03-20 03:31 am (UTC)By the way, I keep meaning to ask -- and then feeling like maybe I'd be better off not doing so, but anyway -- what's up with the "shed freak" icons?

Date: 2007-03-20 07:07 am (UTC)It all came from a really bad story
We had grandiose visions of creating a shed freak icon movement, though. *g*

Date: 2007-03-21 04:55 am (UTC)Maybe, but I'm all for random in-joke icons. }:-) Thanks for the backstory.

Date: 2007-03-18 06:49 pm (UTC)It's kinda library-related, but just reminding you that you are on my List of People Who Get a Free Copy of Divalicious to give to the library.
I just have to actually GET them from Tokyopop first :/
But it WILL come, promise! /_\

Date: 2007-03-19 07:25 pm (UTC)To a certain extent, I understand the caution. But on the other hand, it's just... gyah! If you're going to tell me to go do this, let me actually do it! Especially since there has never been any question about the suitability of the material I've ordered--the books that got complaints predate my involvement.
Anyhow. I digress. I would be thrilled and will argue until I'm blue in the face to get it added.
