I had a friend with two large dogs who gave herself a title after learning the right psychological techniques to make her dogs behave. She called herself the Alpha Bitch. You seem to have some work remaining to do with the cat, though.
I wonder if there's some gaming of the system involved with acronyms. They supposedly exist to make long phrases easier to say, but then it seems like they encourage people to invent longer phrases than necessary in order to make an acronym long enough to sound like a full word. If Alpha Bitch were used at your workplace, it might not be appealing on the basis of acronym length. I like the sound if it in a library context, though, because of the progression of the first letters and the resemblance to "alphabet." Could you be the Alpha Bette, maybe? (I guess might depend on whether it makes people think of the character named Bette on "The L Word"). Maybe it's too obvious a pun, too, for those who don't see the other entendre. Alpha Better would be more gender neutral, and it has a bit of that "One librarian to rule them all" vibe. Maybe you could use a C on the end, too, just to give a sense of the full progression, which could bring you back to Alpha Better in Charge. Not ideal, but it would leave room for knowing winks and hints of what the B really stands for.
