Things I've done in the past few days, by me

Things of consequence from this weekend and yesterday:

* bought new shoes
* did my taxes
* stocked up on groceries
* joined a gym
* bought wedding invitations
* booked wedding venue

Sooo... a number of you might want to keep Thursday, August 10th free. I'm just sayin'.

There's also the phenomenal ice cream shop in Cochrane. And Big Rock --both the giant meteor in the middle of a farmer's field, and the local microbrewery named after the same.

And immediately after the wedding (like, starting Friday night) is our fairly mediocre local con. (The panels usually suck and the masquerade is seldom more than a dozen people--albeit with a truly awesome couple of master-class people who are usually a group entry--but the charity slave auction is fun, and the general hanging out and seeing people.)

Mind you, poutine sounds kinda scary...;)

My parents have been to Banff and Lake Louise, they said it's gorgeous.
