The last thing I needed was another fandom, but... it's just so GOOD!

George is awesome. George is the guy who I would totally want to date my best friend, because he's smart and funny and so. damn. nice. And not in a ingratiating or wishy-washy way, because he stands up for himself, and agonizes over right vs expedient. I loved the nurses with their list of patients, and George, off to take care of it all. I'm guessing he's never going to have to buy his own drink at Joe's again.

Dunno how I feel about Izzie's secret lovechild. I think the point was already abundantly clear--yes, she came from a trailer park and worked her ass off to get where she is. We really didn't need Izzie-as-teen-pregnancy statistic thrown in. But if they had to do it at all, it was done reasonably well. The actor playing the pregnant girl did a great job, on top of being gorgeous, and there were no evil social workers. (Minor aside: things I love about This is Wonderland include the fact that the court social worker is a smart, kick-ass spiky-haired Asian woman in a denim jacket who clearly is doing everything she can for her cleints with limited resources, and is neither uncaring nor ineffectual.)

Speaking of gorgeous, Sandra Oh is very, very pretty. Though it pains me to see that she and Burke might be breaking up. I don't think he was taking as much responsibility as he should have, though. Sure, she shouldn't have gone to him, but he really should have known better. (Though if they break up, I see an even greater slash potential. Because Meredith is her person.)

I'm witholding any final opinion on the unBailey until we see a bit more of her, but I like that's she's obviously not all sweetness and light.

McDreamy is an ass. (And oh, hit us with the dying mothers, and Meredith crying too hard to breathe, and of course I'm going to tear up too.) Not that he should have left her crying in the supply closet, but he was very much of the boyfriend in his comforting. (And that sentence, I'm sure, came out completely incomprehensibly, but I really should have been asleep an hour ago or more.)

Izzie and Meredith piling into George's bed is adorable. I love the dynamic between the three of them.

Gah. My knees are not happy with me. I've spent too much time at the computer this weekend, and if I'm not careful, I spend most of that unergonomically perched cross-legged. Owwww.
