Fairly random thoughts, because I am tired:
Quote: "It's up to you to get your man off any way you can. ANY way you can." --Jack Angel to Anil Sharma.
Still not liking Jack at all, but that line--yes, I am twelve. Hee.
This episode felt a lot more... grounded than the last two. Maybe because there was a lower proportion of silly cases, maybe because the character focus was shared around a bit more.
Elliot in Mental Health Court had the same sort of baffled, heartbreaking humor as Elliot and James in MHC last season. And the hug lady was just... yeah. That's my show. And when he not only went to see what's-her-name from last episode, but brought pizza for her kids, that was positively endearing.
David Kaye is awesome. Zona and Jack as angel and devil was well-played. Nancy and Judge Fraser play off each other well. "But--" "Sit down!" "But--" "Sit!"
Alice backstory! It was definitely implied that her mom was an alcoholic. And I wonder if we'll be seeing more of her sister. But you know who we haven't seen? Ian the cop. Ha.
