Tuesday night TV

daemonlunaI'm getting kind of bored with Bones. I'm not huge on mystery-crime series, and it's basically a procedural drama. Though there is the hope of more Angela/Bones slashiness.
Supernatural... well, it didn't suck quite as much as the killer bugs last week. It had some genuinely creepy moments this time. The show really needs a stronger overall plot arc.
On The Sentinel, there was a lizard in Blair's pants. And there were, like, a dozen explosions in a row. They really like to blow things up on that show. Also, the not-going-to-Borneo conversation at end of the episode? Gay, gay, gay.
House definitely had its moments this week. Chase and the short-shorts comment! House/Wilson banter! But I'm starting to actively dislike Cameron, I'm afraid.
However, the big thrill of my evening was the return of The Rick Mercer Report (Or rather, the show formerly known as the Monday Report until the day got changed). He went to see the Prime Minister. And tsked at his drafty windows, and they went to Canadian Tire together. Seriously. (There's a clip on the website.) Then there was the bit where he compared Stephen Harper and Jack Layton to a movie about prom night. But! Canadian Tire! (Paul Martin got to keep the ubiquitous Canadian Tire money because he's the one who carried the bags.) And then there they were on TV, dutifully sealing the plastic over the windows with hair dryers. Also, the show is having a "best shed in Canada" contest.
And next week, the new season of This is Wonderland!
