Last weekend, I cleaned off my desk while watching SG1 with
troutkitty and
queenzulu. Also, went through the inevitable large pile o' paper, with at least six months' worth of discernable levels of strata. Today, I mailed
joan_not_jaon a traditional bi-annual two year's worth of stuff package.
guyindkny, yours had to wait a day or so until I can find an envelope it fits in without ripping.
placidia and
alessar, I found your Christmas cards. The ones I meant to mail to you last December. (facepalm)
I think they didn't make it into the mail with the rest because I was planning on adding a couple CDs of anime. Um. I should do that. And make another trip to the post office.
In other news, I actually put books ON THE SHELVES in my library!
You may not understand my excitement. Let me explain. This means that those approximately eight hundred and fifty books have all had the catalogue records downloaded (and if I hadn't bought them pre-catalogued, we would still be waiting for me to finish in January...), stamped, spine labelled, taped and/or had the dust jacket covered in mylar, and barcoded. There are four hundred more books waiting for barcodes tomorrow. And about fifteen hundred more on order, but coming pre-processed, thank god.
Also, the library schedule for the classes was sorted out with the bare minimum of bloodshed.
Tonight, I sewed on a button and hemmed a pair of pants. It only took me... almost an hour.
Coming later-not-right-now, more links and fic recs. Now, going to sleep.

Date: 2005-10-01 05:31 pm (UTC)Cool, I'm glad that I'm not just posting links to stuff everyone reading SGA has already seen! I'm contemplating going back and tagging them all, which might make it a bit easier to go through them later.
