Apparently, SGA 2x09 aired tonight in Canada. (On some upper tier pay-type channel we don't get.) It's up on mininova.... yay!

And [livejournal.com profile] queenzulu has to come back over tomorrow to watch it.

Tomorrow night's TV:

ASAP: Stargate Atlantis (Because every once in a while I should actually specify what SGA means)
6:00: Bones (That new cop show one with the forensic anthropoligst and David Boreanz that was vaguely promising but not amazing from the pilot)
7:00: Supernatural (genuinely creepy show about ghost-hunting brothers that seems to be using fairly authentic folklore for its ghosts.)
8:00: The Sentinel (Reruns on Space! What fanfic doesn't capture is how much this show loves to blow things up...)
9:00: House (Hugh Laurie snarks!)

Except that we can catch watch Supernatural at ten if we can't fit the new SGA ep in before Bones. Hooray for catching both the east and west coast feeds.

And the-show-formerly-known-as-Rick-Mercer's-Monday-Report is also moving to Tuesday. EVERY SINGLE SHOW I want to see is on Tuesday night.

Except SGA usually airs Friday. And we just caught the premiere of Kitchen Confidential tonight. (Which I should tell [livejournal.com profile] ming_lei about. And that she did return [livejournal.com profile] troutkitty's copy of the book. Which I think she lent to [livejournal.com profile] drakkenfyre.)And This is Wonderland reruns really are airing on Wednesday nights, and just not showing up in my TV listings.

Um, yeah. My occasional media junkie tendencies are showing.

The thing that I like about Supernatural is that they seem to be fairly accurate and authentic in the folklore that they're drawing on. (Vanishing Hitchhiker, La Llorona, and the Wendigo so far!) That doesn't usually happen. Plus, the stuck to the ceiling bursting into flame thing was actually pretty creepy. Whether they develop any sort of interesting overall plot, and whether or not the paper-thin characters annoy me enough to stop watching it altogether.

I assumed Kitchen Confidential was based on the book Kitchen Confidential by Anthony Bordain...
