The tagline when it started was "Law and Order. Without the Order." It's sharp, funny, intelligent, and moving. It's also an exercise in spot-the-Canadian-actor guest spot. *g* (Ramona Milano! Brent Carver! Patrick McKenna! Peter Outerbridge! Also, Alice/Nancy=OTP.
The first season is coming out on DVD at the beginning of May, but if I can get my hands on a second VCR that actually works, will pimp out copies to anyone who's willing.

I want to pimp this show to my mom. She's a real fan of Law and Order, and of good writing in general--as we all know--and I think this'd be right up her alley. What she said was, "But it's the sort of thing where, if I watch one, I have to watch them all, right?" and I said, "Yep, it's just that good," and she said, "I don't have time for that. You're making me sad." And I said, "I will pimp it to you while you're folding laundry. Because I am just. That. Efficient."
