My wrist is NAKED!

daemonlunaMy watch has been telling that it's ten past six ever since, well, ten past six Friday night. So I wandered down to the Bay at lunch today, surrendered my watch (which is why my wrist is NAKED!), and stopped at McNally Robinson on the way back.
I did not buy Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell, even though the trade paperback is thirty percent off.
I did not buy Monstrous Regiment (Pratchett! Whee!) even though it's out in mass market paperback.
I did not buy Kushiel's Avatar even though it's out in mass market paperback and I have the first two.
I did not buy Olive the Other Reindeer. (It's a picture book about a dog named Olive who hears "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" on the radio, and concludes that she, Olice, is The Other Reindeer, and has to go help Santa.)
I did not buy many things. In fact, I didn't buy anything at all, alas.
(Insert usual job frustration here. And me compulsively calling home and checking the messages.)

troutkitty to exclaim with much alarm, "What are you DOING?" To which I explained gently that it's the middle of November, and just maybe, we should take them down before Christmas decorations go up. "Not the skull windchimes! They could be year-round! Really!" *g* That's m'girl.
