Honestly, it's mostly about food today

daemonlunaArgh, today has been frustrating in terms of various small work-related stuff. (Do not ask me about the Bookmobile's sewage cap...)
So, in the category of things-that-make-me-smile: seeing my eighty year old neighbours going for a walk holding hands.
Also, homemade food FTW. I am eating brown rice with kimchi, chicken, home-made quick pickled carrots, and sauteed mushrooms, with sesame seeds on top. devohoneybee and bell, take a look! For the record, I cooked the lentils and made the rice like normal in the rice cooker, and just mixed it all after.) I am also eyeing these roasted potato tacos, possibly with the addition of scrambled eggs.
And tonight I have a Skype knitting date with a friend who just moved out to Victoria. Technology is cool.
