mmm, sounds like perfect summer small happinesses. I had my first few tomatoes from the garden the other day, too. the apricots are done, and now i have about a dozen fuji apples ripening on my new apple tree (the honeycrisp did not arrive with blossoms or fruit, as the other two did). i have LOTS of tomato plants that grew up from the compost i put on the garden box, but so far, just a few blossoms and no fruit. not sure of the pollination. also the 2 mystery vines (possible cantaloupe?) can came out of the compost as well. garden adventures!
