Lots of links
May. 30th, 2007 01:18 amOh look, I have many links.
Somewhat belatedly, the April 1st version of Ask Metafilter "How long can a normal, healthy 8 week old kitten survive inside an adult python? URGENT!" Sadly, the funny part is how closely these resemble, in spirit, actual questions we've received through our provincial online reference service.
You should all go check out
mimisgrotto's Deviantart pages, because she draws things like Disney princesses in the charming styles of 1918, for the modern princess, as vintage pin-up girls, Buffy as told Peanuts-style, super-deformed Doctor Who, The Little Octopus, the non-princess club, and all sorts of spiffy original stuff.
Star Trek inspirational posters
Star Wars fluff for the day: The Inbox Of Nardo Pace, The Empire's Worst Engineer
MADtv - Grey's Anatomy/House M.D. Crossover Parody
The grammar of lolcatz. Also, Shakesperean cat macros
As many of you have probably already heard, they've discovered real Kryptonite.
A new entry to ALA's READ campaign? Not worksafe, as it contains the phrase "Read a motherfucking book" a lot. Or, you could go check out National Library Week according to Stephen Colbert.
Okay, really going to bed now.
