Exhaustion, whee!

I am currently trying to summon up enough energy to:

- make vague house-cleaning gestures
- make vague attempts to do laundry
- write up some sort of con report

Etc.

Good con. queenzulu has a potential girlfriend. Who continued to associate with us over several days after certain people spent all evening calling her "potentialgirlfriend."

Trying to tell self that it's a bad idea to go back to bed. Yaaaaawn.

That is because you were more sensible than us and did not linger late into the night at room parties. And queenzulu is asking potentialgirlfriend to come to the IFWA bbq. And I also feel like chopped liver.

Well, I'm not sure it was me being sensible as much as me wanting to make sure that my wife didn't forget who I was.

I suspect the cats have forgotten entirely who I am, and are only tolerating me because I filled the food dish and let them out to sprawl on the balcony.

Hmm. They met when Barb asked the Cascadia room party if there were any single lesbians present, and upon no response, asked if there were any bicurious girls, and got a hand up in reply. And that we spent an entire evening calling her "protential girlfriend" and she came back. And she did meet her at con. So we're thinking she might be hearty enough for the IFWA bbq. Also, that she's going to give her plenty of room to gracefully decline and have coffee together later instead.
