On pregnancy: "You have tiny people inside of you!" Heh. Still no match for the cat-policeman-fireman-firetruck thing last week. (Which I need to remember to tell nakedbandit about because she will appreciate it.)

And the slash: "...after I grab Cameron's ass, call Foreman a spade, and Chase... I'll grab his ass, too."

Not to mention Wilson and House in the cafeteria. "Together." Hee.

I have to say that I did want to see that little girl again, all recovered. But the timing struck me as very odd. It would have had to be a jump forward of weeks if not months. And then we're immediately back in the same week--if not day--that we left. I think it was a poor choice of patient-of-the-week to go with this episode, if only because of the time jump.

I'm just not buying the whole Cameron liking House thing. Not that he's unlikeable. And I'm not sure if that's because I only want to see slash, or that the power imbalance thing where it's an authority figure and dependent (so to speak) really does not work for me. (Vs a physical, psychological, or emotional power balance where it's dependent on the specific individuals rather than their external roles. Which geneally, really does work for me.) It might also be an age difference thing, because even though I was never a huge Mulder/Skinner shipper, I wasn't opposed. Anyhow. I see no chemistry. I can intellectually work out how yes, there's motivation and cause and basis for her attraction. But it still doesn't click for me. And I won't be reading any Cameron/House fic any time soon without very good reason.

In fact, I'm going all OTP in my old age, because all I really want is snarky and sweet House/Wilson. Go figure.

And I will have to save This is Wonderland for tomorrow, since ming_lei and Dan came over with (much-needed) chocolate, I taped it (really, this week), and m'girl is now watching The Amazing Race. (If we had a second VCR, not only could I copy TiW tapes, but tape one show while watching another...)

Hmm. Speaking of OTPs, I seem to be writing nothing but Alice/Nancy. I can see Alice/Pamela. Or Elliot/Anil. And David Kaye is as queer as a three-dollar bill.

(pokes vaguely at fic) Hmm.

while it would take more than a week, it does go quite quickly, especially in children. My friend'd daughter, once on growth hormones, was visibly changed within two weeks. Hell, as an adult, two weeks into taking thyroid hormone I'd dropped 8 pounds.
