Ohh, me too! And speaking of pimping, I still have several DVDs of random stuff, mostly obscure anime, and *cough* a Christmas card all waiting to be mailed to you.
Being surrounded by assorted children, small or not so small, does the same to me. Friday mornings, I've got five classes in a row in the library and all but one are in the 5-7 age range. And I say many times over:
"Oh, you still have a book out, (title of book). Do you remember that one?"
(small child might possibly nod at this point, or just look puzzled, or sometimes say that they brought it back)
"Okay, well, the computer says you still have it signed out. Tell you what. I'll look for it here in the library, but you have to check in your backpack for it, and get your mom or dad or another grown-up at home to help you look for it. Can you do that? Do you want a reminder note?"
All this is, of course, in my best talking-to-Kindergarten voice. They are teh cute, but I do prefer the older kids.
