It's so cool that schools still have Book dress-up day.
Coming from 13 years of school uniform, I remember how exciting that was, to dress up. I went as George Herriman's 'Krazy Kat' when I was about 8. Yes, I KNOW it's a comic and not a book, but it was obscure enough that noone argued with me ;)
International Days were always popular, too. They were a LOT less frequent than once a month, though. Damn, I bet that stresses a lot of non-crafty parents ;)
