Tuesday night TV
House "Babies and Bathwater"
Well. That was interesting. And the whole office scene with House and Wilson, much with the slashiness! And the angst! Also, Cuddy is kick-ass.
I'm wondering what the season is leading up to for the last four episodes, since Vogler is now out of the picture. At least, he appears to be. Maybe he's going to meddle with the hospital at a higher level. Meddle, meddle. Also, with Cameron gone, it's a mostly male cast. Does this mean new character, Cameron comes back, or Cuddy gets a more prominent role?
I know I had some far more articulate and clever observations about the episode, but that was before it got all late, and I got all sleepy, and all coherent thought was pushed aside with the trailer for next week's This is Wonderland.

There's a lot more continuity going on this season. Not that last season had glaring continuity errors or anything, but plotlines and characters are carrying over from previous episodes. In fact, most of the secondary characters had shown up before--the schizophrenic enviromentalist and his wife, the psychotic brothers from last week, Mr. Jackson once again as a Christ-figure. Hee. ("Tell Judge Malone I'll see him next week for my Trial of Trials!")
Michael's wife is Leah Pinsent! Who was Veronica on Made in Canada (making her the third cast member from Made in Canada to appear on TiW), and is also Gordon Pinsent's daughter, if I remember correctly. Also, he has an eight-year-old daughter named Melanie. (Note to self, remember this for continuity purposes!)

queenzulu and I decided that Alice is definitely the older sister. And she's got a history on the show of intervening in social situations instead of just walking away, whether it's an altercation at the coffee shop over a latte, or a scary person who might possibly be violent, and oh yes, he is, oh dear. ... If that made any sense. I think what I'm trying to say is that her actions this week fit in with what had been previously established for the character. And it will be interesting to see how she deals with it. And... Nancy! Truly emotional outburst! With the crying!
Next week promises angst and emotional catharsis. On one hand, I can't wait. On the other, it's the last episode of the season. Argh! However, I've heard that it's been renewed for a third season. Yay!
